I would be very interested in knowing what you really mean by this: "clients to have connection configuration in their browsers"

After installing 4.1, It is not possible to access a secured site when permissions are given to a role in Geocortex Identity Server. I get the message "The current user cannot access the desired resource."

To be able to launch my site, I have to give permission to "Anonymous access - Guest", but of course, then the site is no longer secured.

Is this the same kind of problem that you ran into? And have you found a solution?

    Thanks Jostein for the help,

I thought that any machine connected to the server can access the web application when the link is provided

    http://10.110.62.82/SilverlightViewer_2_0/Viewer.html?ViewerConfig=http://10.110.62.82/Geocortex/Essentials/REST/sites/A1/viewers/B1/virtualdirectory/Config/Viewer.xml

    /customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000elzIuEAI

This should be done without the need to have any particular configurations at the level of client’s web borrower (Firefox, IE, etc.).

In my case, client’s’ machines are required to have some settings to access the web application.
