Error when using measurement tools

When I measure Area or distance, the result does not appear on the map along the shape drawn, and “[error]” appears in the result-box. I filled the WKID projection in measurement section (which was empty) in the tool behavior menu, but it doesn’t work. This is shown in the screenshots below.

  HaniDradi,

  Make sure your geometry service is set for your own internal service, not the ESRI sample one. It is used in all the measurement operations. That should clear up the error.

  And just to add to Jim's reply this setting is in the site configuration.
