I couldn’t figure out how the “instant search” can be enabled

  Hi Jamal,

  I believe you have to install the Geocortex Essentials Instant Search separately from the Essentials installation (you shouldn't have to do this in future releases).  Download the Instant Search installation files from the support center and install.  Once installed, you'll see all of the available options under the "Instant Search" tab.
