How to change the color of a point on the map

Hi,

I have a map layer that displays on the map the locations of some organizations I have in a database.

I have created an workflow that is able to search by an input address and a X distance (in miles) then zoom in on the map and displays on the left pannel all organizations from the buffered area.

I am now trying to mark the buffered area (circle based on the inserted distance) on the map and also display the organizations in the buffer area with different colors.

I am not sure how I can do that.

I also have a problem: I downloaded some workflow samples from your website and I found that I cannot really run them with the simulator because the  rest services used in the workflows do not exist (ex: http://sampleserver1.geocortex.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/CharlotteOperational/MapServer/6).

It would really help to be able to run the examples in the simulator and first see what they really do.
