OpenWebPage for Email Works on Desktop Only

I've added a working hyperlink on the Home page so that people can send us feedback on our application and wanted to add a button to the toolbar as well. I've set it up to do an OpenWebPage with the same mailto: text used in the hyperlink as the command parameter. This opens the email client as expected on the desktop, though it does also result in a new tab/window in the browser. On the handheld, however, the only thing that happens is opening a new, empty web page.

Is there a way to set this up, so it works on all devices just like the hyperlink does? Oddly enough, it works just fine in the simulator (along with opening the empty web page).

  I've noticed some clunky behavior even on the desktop when including mailto links.

  I had a mailto hyperlink from my home panel that would open a blank browser window as you describe. It would not spawn an E-mail client. I ended up using a contact form workflow I created instead of prepopulating the E-mail.

  Thanks, Erik,

  I haven't noticed problem behavior with the mailto from the desktop, I'm happy to say.

  I may have to look into creating a similar contact form workflow if there's no more direct way around this.
