HTML5 Viewer with Picture panel
I have been asked to write a web map which has a picture panel at the bottom of the page. The pictures should be scrollable left and right. Clicking a picture would zoom or pan to the feature relating to the picture, and pop up some information near it.
I am not a really good JavaScript programmer, and know nothing about HTML5. I've made several maps with the HTML5 Viewer, but new management wants a new map that resembles Google's map site. Can I do something in with Geocortex products to make this happen, or is this a pipe dream?

For this you should use esri's story map template. Does exactly what you are looking to do without doing any programming. You will need to set up an arc online account, but that is easy. You can than either use one of your base map services, or use one of esri's free ones. They then walk you through how to add the photos. Whole thing can be done in a couple of hours. 0 -
Story maps are the way to go here but it would be nice to see this ability in Geocortex as well.
