Geocode and route task activities

I want to create a workflow that takes addresses from a display form, then geocode them; the geocoding result is in an ienumerable variable, but I don’t know what “ienumerable” means -I’m not a developer- Then I want to plug the geocoding result in a route task activity, which needs a route-parameter variable, but I don’t know how to convert ienumerable to route-parameter variable.
