Watching the Workflow Work

Is there any way to keep the results of query tasks from displaying in the data panel while the workflow is processing?

I have a set of several query tasks running in parallel and then display as a results table in the bottom of the map with the feature details displayed in the data panel on the right.  But while the query tasks are executing, the data panel on the right flashes and fills with a list of the data results before then being replaced by the feature details.

This is causing some kind of epileptic fit in persons in management positions who want to know "what happened to all that data?", "why is it there and then gone?" and other silliness. Apparently, those of line worker rank or below are unaffected.

In any case, is there any way for intermediate data results to NOT be sprayed across the left hand data panel while the query tasks are processing?  A sort of "execute in silent mode" kind of thing?
