Data Link Searches in HTML5

Hi,

Can you confirm Data Link Searches are only for the silverlight viewer?  What I get for results in the SL viewer, I don't in the HTML5 viewer.  Furthermore, I have previously written code using the DataLinkSearch object in the Silverlight API, there doesn't seem to be anything equal in the javascript API.  

I'm now thinking a Workflow might work, create a form with fields, execute a SearchTableParameterQuery, and execute a query task using the unique key values from the search results, select the feature set?
