Help! HTML5 Viewer
Hello all!
We are trying to add more functionality to the HTML5 Viewer, specifically adding in better geolocating services that zoom in closer and more accurate, also to follow you around or automatically update your location every fews seconds. Has anyone been able to customize the viewer code to do this?
Help Please!!

This feature is coming in 2.3 which is due out very soon. It offers the ability to do single-point geolocation ("Where am I?") as well as tracking and following.

Any idea why we cannot get the Geolocation Indicator Image to display when we are trying to locate ourselves? Our html5 viewer is using our geometry service and we are using state plane, we also can only get an accuracy of 35 ft when using a android smartphone or iphone.
Also, we have noticed that the indicator image displays only if we are using web mercator, but web mercator is not good for calculating distances and areas which is something we need to be able to do very accurately.
Thanks.

Are you using Geolocation in a disconnected environment? The indicator hides itself in that case, since a geometry service may not be available.

Nope. Even on a desktop computer the image does not appear. It only appears if we are using web mercator data but we do not want to use that system as we do alot of measurements and calculations.
