Hi, 

We are testing the new HTML5 viewer and have noticed that the Geolocation Indicator Image does not appear at all when using the geolocate functions.  We created a new image to use and placed it in the same location as the default image and the viewer shows it in the rest endpoint and in the json as being part of the viewer code, but when the viewer starts up and you start geolocation the viewer does not load in the image.  Any ideas?? Thanks!!

  Seems like the geolocation icon only displays if the services a web tiled layer?  IT shows up for map quest layers and arcgis online sat layers made by esri but not our in house county ortho layers..

  I am still having this issue- the marker for geolocation is not showing in my HTML 5.2.3 viewers.  I can get the accuracy circle but not the markers.  I tried changing out the marker .png but with same no-show reuslt.  Has anyone had this issue and fixed it?

  Ruth,

  Currently, the Geolocation Indicator Image will only display in the HTML5 2.3.2 viewer if you have a basemap and that basemap is in Web Mercator. I will add you as a stakeholder to this issue.
