Coded Domains & Simple Query Builder - GE 4.2.1

There have been several posts discussing issues with coded domains and the simple query builder.

Now that I've upgraded my local pc to Essentials 4.2.1 and the Silverlight viewer to 2.3, I am experiencing the same issues with the simple query builder

where it is not displaying a distinct list of domain values even though I can see the values are querying the rest end point.

In one domain, only two values out of nine are displayed, while another one supplies  the complete list.

Under the connection string, I've selected the Geocortex Services Enhancement Proxy radio button and have checked off the resolve coded domains.
