More issues with Layer Themes/Layer List in Essentials 4.2.1

We have been experiencing many problems with the layer list and layer themes after the recent upgrade to 4.2 and 4.2.1.  Where in essentials manager we have a layer (or top layer of a grouped layer) both in the layer list and layer theme to be turned on and then in the viewer when the user sees it the layer is off. 

Who else is seeing this problem?  It is very frustrating!!

  Hello Chris,

  Thank you for taking the time to express your frustrution.  We understand that this is a top priority for our customers and we are working hard to ensure that we release updates to the HTML5 and Silverlight Viewers to address these issues.  Our Development and QA teams are targeting maintenance releases by the end of this week, however depending upon what we find during testing, this could slip into next week.  I will announce these releases as soon as they become available.

  I have noticed an issue with the layer list as well. I have a group that has 3 layers within it. If I select the "Hide sub-items in layer list" on that folder, the 3 layers will be shaded a lighter gray and look like they will be hidden (Italicized), but in the viewer they are still visible.

  Hi Mike,

  The "Hide sub-items in layer list" is a new option that was added in Geocortex Essentials 4.2.1. This new option requires the 2.3.1 version of our viewers which will be released in the near future as mentioned by Pandora.
