difference in instant search results silverlight vs html5
hi i have this string:
{E9D8E5B0-F195-48A5-B99C-F21FC68CC87D}
this search string give the correct result in my silverlight viewer instant search, but gives no results in html5?? whats going on here? its a cut and paste from and excel sheet, that field is a text field in excel.

I have noticed discrepancies between Instant Search in Silverlight vs. HTML5 too. Not sure if it's the same issue you are having, but our GIS data is automatically updated nightly (our Instant Search indexes are not - they rebuild weekly). This creates a situation where in HTML5, the search returns wrong information - it works, the drop-down hints are fine, but when the search executes it returns a completely different address than the one it should be searching for. This problem does not happen in Silverlight.
So clearly Instant Search functions somewhat differently for each of the viewers. I'm just not able to figure out what those differences are.
