mixed content results in failure to load GE Maps in android

All - 

I have seen the posts regarding mixed content warnings and understand some of it may be out of control.  However, we are noticing that our maps (4.2.0, html 2.3.1) will not load on chrome browsers in Android if the mixed content warning occurs.  I have scoured my site and am confident all of my services are https - and i get no warnings in manager - but the page still renders as https mixed content and fails to load on android.

Anyone - anything - appreciated.

  Do you have Silverlight and HTML5 viewers as part of the same site?  I had this issue as well.  My fix was to create a new site for the HTML5 viewer only that references the Silverlight viewer site.  This gets rid of any direct http: references in the site.xml, which seemed to be causing the issue.
