Hello Jamal,
That error is presented when one or more of the services on that site is temporarily unreachable. We have have looked into this issue and have improved the error handling for the next minor release.
To troubleshoot, you can try to add the services within that site to another site in order to track down which service is the issue, then remove that service from the site or see if the service is acting up in ArcGIS Server. Unfortunately, since the site will not open, you may need to remove the service manually from the Site.xml.
I hope this helps.

Thank you Stefan for the answer. We do like you guys to stay around to help us with our daily frustrating issues.
At the level of the ArcGIS Server, all service work fine and have no issues. They are working as expected.
The issue here is that the Geocortex is not able to give an access to the site to have a look and to fix the problem if any.
Is the next release soon? I have myself reported more than 15 bugs that are not resolved yet. Most of them are crucial.
best

Hey Jamal -
That error pops up from time to time for us as well - usually it's just kind of a bug.
As a work around, we usually apply changes and save the site very frequently, and when the error shows up (assuming the services are available and it's just Essentials Manager acting up) just close the site and reopen, usually solves it. A bit of a pain, but as long as you save frequently it's not too bad.

Many thanks Allen,
Assume that I need to copy the site to another machine that has the Geocortex. This error never leaves!
I wish the Geocortex team can solve this bug soon.

Not knowing the specifics of your set-up, but unless it happens all the time it shouldn't need to be moved.
One other thing I have noticed is that having multiple browser windows or tabs with Essentials Manager open seems to increase the frequency of this error

Hi Peter,
We usually copy the site to other machine for the purpose of testing.
I’m not sure if this “bug” is related to the 4.2.X version as we never had it in the past.
