Zoom Levels

The zoom levels are set by your map services.

Dynamic services have no zoom limit, so you can get in as close as you want.

Tiled services are limited to the levels of the tiles, so if the lowest tiled level is 1:1128 then that is as close as you can get. (This the tile limit of the ESRI/Google/Bing tiled services).

Also, GeoCortex will take the settings of the service at the bottom of your list of services.

We got around this by creating an empty tiled service with a custom tiling scheme that has additional levels of 1:564 and 1:282 and putting it at the bottom of our list of services.

Your existing tiled services that are only tiled to 1:1128 will not display at the lower levels, but all the dynamic services will.

**Added bonus: we renamed the empty tiled service to "Base Maps Off" in GE, so it shows up in the base maps widget and allows you to 'turn off' whatever map is active in the base map widget. (I hope that made sense...)
