Weird Behaviour in IE 8

Hi,

 

When using the v5.2.3 of the viewer in IE 8 the home panel is not displaying and the following error for Date.now is shown in the debugger:

(b.viewModel.dataFrameWidth.set(a.size.width),b.resizeAll(),b.app.event("ApplicationResizedEvent").publish())}});var d=0;$(".ui-resizable-e",this.leftElement).click(this,function()=={var a=Date.now() ;a-d>300&&(b._executeToggleLeftPanel(),d=a)});if(Modernizr&&Modernizr.to

 

Object doesn't support this property or method. 

However the same viewer running chrome does have this problem.

In addition none of the functions on the I want to... menu work in are working in IE 8 also.

  Lorne,

  Are you on the latest version of Viewer for HTML5? I believe the latest maintenance release (2.3.2) addressed the issue you described earlier. 

   

  Check the release notes for 2.3.2, under bug fixes: " GVH-4628   Date.Now not supported in IE8"

  I'm on 2.3, so I just downloaded 2.3.2 and will test it out.

   Thanks for your help, the 2.3.2 viewer fixed my problem.
