Offline tpk issues

I just wanted to see if anyone else was having issues with the offline tpk and iOS8. I had to do some rigging to get it to work correctly with iOS7. Had to change the ESRI 3.9 to version 3.8. We have a stable version at Essentials 4.1.4 and viewer 2.2.1. After seeing the issues with iOS8 we ran a test upgrade to 4.2 and html5 2.3. Seemed to have the exact same issues we dealt with on the old platform with the tpk. Still unresolved. We have to run on 4.1.4 and just hope it gets fixed soon. The problem is the tpk loads when going offline to take the place of the street map layer and it just seems to get stuck and eventually kills the app. It never tiles correctly. We had the same issue when we rigged the ESRI 3.9 and forced it to use the 3.8. This fix doesn't work with the 4.2 version of essentials. Just stuck and confused. Thanks.
