Reports in HTML5

We are looking at moving from Silverlight to HTML5 and one thing that we need in HTML5 is reports.  We have one newly created report that works in silverlight based on a selection on the map and then it launches the pdf report that was designed in Report Designer. The fields in the report pull directly from one feature class. Setting up this report in Manager with Silverlight was easy.  I have not run across helpful documentation for setting reports in HTML5.  I saw someone earlier post about a very involved workflow to get a report to function.

Is there an easier way to get my report to run HTML5?
