Identify not working

I've enabled identify operations on a simple site with only 2 layers and when I click a polygon I get 'no results found'.  I'm using GE 4.1, GVH 2.3.  Anyone else having this problem?

  Do you have enabled the Services Enhancement Proxy?

  That sometimes happens to me, but if I slightly drag a rectangle, then the identify works...
