Removing Basemap/Layer Credits in Viewer
Is there a way to remove the credits that appear along the bottom right of the map next to the overview map? Or at least customize it? Thanks.

If you're using the GVS, you can uncheck the Show Attribution option on the Map Widgets tab of the Viewer settings in GE Manager.

And if you're using HTML5? 0 -
Newer version of GE let you exclude copyright information from print/export images (map service Details tab), but not from your web map, which makes sense since they're copyrights.
From the admin guide:
Some web tile services require that you display a copyright or other attribution on the map when you use the service in a web mapping application.0 -
My problem is that layers that aren't turned on are displaying copyright credits. This is somewhat confusing for the user. It also gives me the impression that they are using resources. 0 -
I have this same problem. A layer has a copyright, but not turned on, but it still appears within the viewer. 0 -
We have a number of layers/services appearing in the credits that aren't copyright protected, many even show up twice. Showing the necessary copyright items is fine but how do you remove the other ones? 0 -
Hello James H., Halil, and James A.,
James H, and Halil, I am not seeing this issue on my testing site. Could you please open a new support case at your convenience, and attach your site.xml so we can take a look?
James A, I see what you mean, it's a little redundant to have the duplicate entries. We had an improvement to fix that in GVS, but it never took off. Can you please submit it to the ideas section so uses can see it, and vote on it? If it gains enough traction, we will implement it in GVH!
Thanks,

I am using Geocortex Essentials HTML 5 Viewer and the only way I was able to solve this was by going through each map/feature service and removing the map credits from the map itself and then republishing the service.
