Fillable pdf form

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this because I'm not entirely sure where to begin.

I would like to create a workflow that opens a fillable pdf form into which the user can enter data. The data would then be written to attribute fields in a feature class.

I know I can create a form in workflow, but the client would like to use the fillable pdf form that they created.

Any guidance on where to start or if this is even possible would be appreciated.
