Change Default Directory of Instant Search Indices

Is it possible to change the default location where the instant search indices are stored? I'd like to store mine on a separate SSD drive on the same server where Essentials is installed.

  Hi Mike,

  There is a tool in the Geocortex Applications Services directory that will help you move the Instant Search data directory.

  Default Location:

  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Application Services 2\Management

  Launch the Geocortex.GAS.Management.exe and follow the instructions. 

  Do you have any existing Instant Search indices?

  Thanks for the tip on resetting the default data directory. I do have some existing indices I'd like to move. I've also noticed that since we made the change, our instant search does not seem to be working in the apps. We've tried rebuilding the indices on a few services, but they seem to go for days without finishing. Do you know what might be causing those problems?
