Insufficient privileges error when installing GE 4.2.1
Hello -
I am getting an Insufficent privileges error when installing GE 4.2.1 . The error occurs when the installation process moves to Geocortex Application Services 2. I have changed the path to the location of the instant search data files. Other than that, its a typical installation. Any insight is appreciated.

Update -
If I don't change the path for the location of the instant search data files the installation succeeds. However, now I am getting an error when trying to use manager: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it <myserver>:6379 .

Final Update on this issue.
This error is related to the redis service used by essentials. I found out that during the installation process of 4.2.1, a different path was chosen for the Data folder used with instant search. The new path chosen during the installation returned an error of insufficient privileges and the installation (of GAS 2) failed. In a second attempt at installing essentials we reverted to the default path given by the installer. However, the previous installation created a shortcut for the Data folder in the default path and this shortcut didn't point to any location on the file system. This caused the redis service to fail to start which is the reason why the error message was popping up when trying to access the manager application. The fix was to delete the Data folder shortcut created during the essentials installation and re-run the installation process using the default path for the instant search data folder. On the next attempt at installing essentials, the installer created an actual Data folder in the default location and upon restart of all services, the redis service was able to fire up and we are able to access the manager application.

Brad,
I just want to personally thank you for posting this. It helped me identify the same issue I was having.
Your fix of deleting the data shortcut and re-running the install was what I needed and likely saved us support time.
