Run a work flow when the viewer is loaded

Is there a method to run a workflow when the HTML5 viewer is loaded “ started” ?

  Yes, add the ID of the workflow manually to your Desktop.json.js (and the files for the other devices) in the configuration of the Workflow module, startupWorkflows setting.

  One other quick point that was not obvious to me at first was that the workflow name needs to be in quotes in the json file, i.e. ["Startup_Workflow"]. Took me a lot of headscratching to figure that one out :)

  Another option is to make it part of the URL.

  Server /Html5Viewer_2_2/Index.html?configBase= Server /Geocortex/Essentials/REST/sites/ Site /viewers/ Viewer /virtualdirectory/Resources/Config/Default&runWorkflow= WorkflowName
