“GetCentroid” activity fails to display correct information for irregular feature,

When the centroid is outside the required feature, the “RunExternalCommand” display the information for the nearest feature.

I’m wondering if there is any command which is parallel to “Feature to point” in ArcGIS.

  Hi Majdoleen,

  I asked around and our GIS expert said that its possible to use a (http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/rest/apiref/labelpoints.html) Label Points  geometry service. You would need to build your own web request in workflow to do this, but it would give you an intersecting centroid, rather than the centroid of the extent.
