Data Connection based on workflow

While having a data connection to an external database is useful, it is also a bit limited.

I would therefore like to propose functionality where one can add a data connection based on a workflow. This workflow would take one or more attribute values as input parameter, and a featureset as output parameter. This way, we can easily show related data from other datasources such as SOAP services, or other types of data not supported by a traditional data provider.
