    Hello Rui,

There 'should' be no difference in functionality between the versions.

Is the service publicly accessible? If it is secured using token security, you may need to enter a Token URL for the Generate Token endpoint.

    Thanks, Stefan

Are you using HTTPS or HTTP?

    Hi guys

    Thanks for your ansewers.

I'm using a REST service form ESRI Uk, https and with authentication.

I can access the REST endpoint in a browser and in an ArcGIS client and in Geocortex 4.2.1.

    Cheers,

    Rui

Rui, we've run into this when migrating sites with secured services. It is reported and is filed as bug number GE-6626.

To get around it, you need to go to each of the map services and explicitly add the token url (e.g. https://yourserver/arcgis/tokens) to the service connection. For some reason, the Service Connection gets confused and tries to authenticate to the http token url instead of the https token url. You are effectively overriding it.

    Best,

    Hi Tom

It worked but I had to leave the Token URL Field empty. Chris Wright from 1Spatial suggested that I tried it and it worked.

Thank you very much for your help
