When will Coordinate Tools be added

Hello,

  When will the Coordinate tools be added to the viewer?  We would rather not build a custom tool, if this is going to happen soon.  It would be nice to have a matrix outlining when functionallity will be added to the viewer and what will never be added.

    Version 2.4 is due to be released in a matter of days and contains a Coordinates Widget that displays the current mouse coordinates either during mouse movement, or on hover if they need to be projected to a different coordinate system. On touch devices, touching the map will display the coordinates in the widget. Different coordinate systems can be configured.

    thanks for the update, but I think Louie was talking more about the missing Coordinate Tools region in the HTML5 viewer. Our users need these tools and we're also wondering if there is a timeline on these making a new viewer release. I've just installed 2.4 and noticed things are close to parity, but important things (subjective here:) like plotting coords, and in other modules like Adding Data (shapefiles, etc) are missing also.

    I think we all realise that you folks are working hard to narrow the 'gaps' and a matrix on the potential releases would be great. I have the initial matrix in front of me, and it's a great document, and would be even better if estimations could be added outlining proposed release schedules perhaps? In keeping with what Louie has mentioned...

    2.4 is looking good so far....

    We are also waiting for the coordinate tools. I've tried to enable the coordinates widget but nothing happens. I'm at GVH 2.5.

    I've added your names to the list of stakeholders. This feature has been prioritized but I can't provide a definite timeframe for when it will be implemented.
