How to get feature set collection id?

Hi,

I have a workflow that performs a query task and creates a featureset. I'd like to determine the featuer set collection id. I know that I could use the 'Select Features' activity and specify my own name for the collection, but that does not work for my purposes. Does anyone know what the default collection id is called? Or is there a way for my workflow to specify a name for the collection without using the select features activity?

  Found out from Latitude, there is no way to do this. They suggested that custom code would need to be developed.

  Does anyone know if this is still the case? Would be so good if I could just use "SelectFeatures" and define the collection name for the existing identify results. At the moment you have to reselect the existing selection in order to add/remove from it.

   

  If you've got 250 features selected with datalinks, and just want to add one more feature, the overhead is huge witht he current work around.

  Hi Lauren,

  You can use the Collection Name for an existing named collection, then specify the Combine Mode based on how you want the two collections to be combined. In your case, use the dropdown to select Geocortex.Workflow.Activities.CombineMode.Union.
