    Hello Neal,

Currently, there is no ability to achieve this. I have created a feature request for such functionality.

    Thanks, Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

Thank you for the quick response and thanks for creating a feature request for this functionality.  We are interested in consistency of brand across all of the sites that we have. The ability to go in and make changes to all sites in mass would improve be especially useful to us.  Right now, our stragegy is to break up the list of sites into smaller chunks and each member of our team will take a chunk and go through one - by - one making changes.  It can be a little cumbersome.

    Thanks, Neal

Not sure what version you're on but can't you achieve this with the reference site?

Don't know if the reference site works with viewers but we use it for basemaps. All our basemaps are in our 'base site' that is then referenced in each of our production sites. Updating the basemaps in the base site is reflected across all the production sites automatically.

    Cheers

    Neil.

    Hello Neil,

Thanks for suggesting inheritance! Not sure why a bell didn't go off in my head sooner.

Neal, creating sites initially that all inherit from each other would be ideal and would relieve a lot of the issues you are having. What you could do is inherit from a particular 'parent' site, then remove any unnecessary map services in the 'child' sites that are present in the parent that you don't need.

There's a section on Site Inheritence in the Administrator and Developer Guide for Geocortex Essentials that would help in the process.

    Thanks,

    Stefan

So I'm curious; what does a collection of 400 GE sites look like (user groups targeted, site design, etc.)? I thought I had a decent-sized collection with 20 sites :)
