Workflow Stopped working after adding dll

Hi,

Whenever I am adding a dll into these folders below, my workflow Designer is saying " GeoCortex.Workflow.Designer has stopped working . Please close the program " and is asking to close the program

Locations:

D:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\bin

D:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\Workflow Designer

My intention is to use the dll I have written to get Subtype values from database and populate in the results instead of showing subtype code. the dll takes input as featurelayer name and returns a dictionary of key value pairs.

Please help me out here.

  In this case there is something wrong with the DLL you created, the Designer cannot interpret is as a custom activity.

  Thankyou for the quick reply.

  In the dll, Im using ESRI Desktop references(dlls) which come with ARCGIS Desktop product. But my system is missing those dlls since ArcGIS Desktop is not installed.

  Can this be the cause??
