3rd party app new window does not work with secured sites in Firefox

  I have 3rd party apps working for a number of sites.  I noticed that with https:  secured sites, the open in new window button does not work with Firefox.  Chrome and IE work fine.

   

  Any hints?

  I'm having a similar problem with the 3rd Party Map window no opening in Firefox 38.0.5, and I'm using http.  The 3rd Paty Map pane is removed, but the map does not open in either a tab or a new window.   The Both IE 10.09 and Chrome 43.0.2357 work fine.

  Hi,

  Would you both mind checking if the "Block pop-up windows" setting is enabled in your Firefox browsers? You can check by going to Options -> Content -> Pop-ups. 

  Firefox appears to differ in what is considered a pop-up window compared to IE/Chrome, and is preventing these windows from opening. This will be addressed in the next major release, due out later this summer.

  Thanks.  That was it.  I added the website to the exceptions, and it now works.
