Creating Linear Features in HTML5
Hello,
We have been using the mobile capability of the HTML5 viewer sometime, but have run into an issue with linear features. We can create them, no issue there. However, a user must double-click the device to end the feature. The act of double-clicking to end the feature is difficult to use and when we are successful, we have found that the linear feature created generally looks a bit like a hockey stick due to the use not being able to doubl-click exactle on the verticy that shoudl end the line; instead it ends the linear feature a little off of the end vertex, adding a little tail (or, if you;re form Canada, completes the 'hockey stick' look)..@GeocortexSupport please help. This is an extermely anoying issue, as the work around now is having to post-QA any linear feature created in the HTML5 viewer with either an equivalent Silverlight viewer, or via ArcMap. Thank you in advance. Sean

Hi Sean,
The support team is happy to help you with this issue. Can you please submit a request, via an email to (support@geocortex.com) ? This will open a case in our request tracking system. When submitting this request, if possible, can you please send us the URL to a viewer that exhibits this behaviour? Otherwise, a quick video that displays this behaviour would also be excellent!
Thanks! We look forward to working with you.
Best wishes,
Pandora

Hi Sean,
That issue has been previously reported as GVH-3516 and seems to be device-specific. A fix for it was provided in HTML5 viewer 2.4. Could you please provide the viewer version, device and OS version you are using (e.g. GVH 2.4, iPad 2, iOS 8.1)?
