Map Template on Report

I am working on functions/workflows where the user selects features using the "DisplayCaptureGeometry" tool and then generates a report(s) on those featues along with a map of where the features is. The problem is that the map is not showing up on the report (which is done by a subreport) and the attributes from the data table that are strings at the bottom of the page are displaying initials or abbreviations instead of the actual data in the data table. I have not tried anyting yet with the attributes but I have done alomst evertything with trying to get the map to display and I have had no luck. Does anyone have a solution?
