Sub-Item Visibility

I am using the latest HTML5 Viewer and have a functionality that is not carried over from the Manager side of the map to the viewer side.

I have grouped layers which are set to 'visilbe' individually and set to 'not visible' as a group.

In the viewer, however, the user can set the group to 'visible' and the sub-items are NOT visible unless the user expands the group and sets the layer(s) to 'visible.'

The Silverlight Viwer carries this functionality over correctly.

  We had this issue as well, and it is a known bug with the latest versions. To fix this we created a layer theme called "All Layers" and disabled the show all layers option and had the theme we created as the default theme and then the viewer honored what you configured in manager. Hope that helps!

  That did work well thank you.  The result leaves a "layer theme" switcher at the top of the table of contents but I can live with that.

  Thanks for the workaround!  If you leave a layer unchecked and hide the sub items, there is no way to turn it on in the HTML5 viewer.  I hope they fix this bug soon!!
