HTML5 2.3.3 and Android
Dear all,
Where can I find which version of Android or other OS for mobile devices are supported by the HTML5 2.3.3 viewer?
When trying to measure or identify a line or polygon by using some of our mobile devices having different Android OS versions, it works for some versions but it does not work for other versions (when tapping on the screen, nothing happens; it seems as if tapping is not 'received' by the device)
Android versions for which it doesn't work: 4.2.2, 4.3
Android versions for which it does work: 5.0, 5.0.2
Can someone confirm that the HTML5 2.3.3 viewer is only compatible with Android 5.0 and higher versions? Where can I find all supported operating systems for this HTML5 2.3.3 viewer? I checked the release notes, but there it is not mentioned
Many thanks for your help!
Philippe

In the Installation Guide there is a paragraph Client Requirements, but operating systems are not mentioned here.

We have found that it is the browser on the Android device that is probably not HTML5 standards compliant. If you install Chrome, even on these older OS versions, the HTML5 Viewer will work. We tested this on Android 4.3 and HTML Viewer 2.4.1.
