    Hi Stephanie,

    It sounds like you might be running into the issue described in (https://support.geocortex.com/SupportForums/Thread.aspx?pageid=0&mid=2&ItemID=9&thread=58449) this thread . If so, then the issue is fixed in our upcoming 2.4.1 release of the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5. In the meantime, you can use the workaround suggested by Chris in that thread.

    Thanks Eric, I'll give that a try.

    It looks like my issue is slightly different from that thread.  I have the opposite problem with my group layers, where sublayers are turned on in manager, and the group layer is turned off.  The user would need to turn on the group layer to see all of the sublayers, but when they turn on the group layer in the HTML5 viewer no layers draw.  The sublayers are already checked on, and unchecking and rechecking doesn't do anything.

    I tried the All Layers theme workaround in the other thread and it didn't make a difference.

    Is a date set for the 2.4.1 release?  Just trying to decide whether to roll back to a backup or wait and try the new version.

    Our QA team is working hard on testing a release candidate of the 2.4.1 release as we speak. We expect it to be available sometime next week.

    I just upgraded to 2.4.1 and it did not fix the problem.  I still can't turn on any group layers in my HTML5 viewer.  I'm away next week so I'll see if I can find any workarounds when I get back, hopefully the answers will be here when I return :).

    The "All layers" theme also did not help with 2.4.1.

    Hi Stephanie,

    I'm sorry to hear that upgrading to 2.4.1 didn't resolve your issue. Our QA team tried to reproduce your issue, but wan't able to. At this point it might be best if we could obtain a copy of your site to troubleshoot the issue further. When possible, please send an email to support@geocortex.com that references this thread, and attach a zipped copy of your site folder. By default, your Essentials sites are stored in C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites on your Essentials server -- there should be a folder in there corresponding to the site that you're having trouble with. Once we receive the file, hopefully we'll be able to figure out what is going wrong. Thank you for your patience!

    Thanks Eric!  I just sent an email to support with the zipped site.

    Cheers,

    Stephanie

    The fix for this issue will be in version 2.5 of the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5. For reference, the issue tracking ID is GVH-6122.

    I've run into the same issue with these folders. The children of a non-visible parent folder do not draw.

    I'm really depending on this bug to be fixed in 2.5!

    I've just today upgraded from 2.4.1 to 2.5, and with great hope of seeing improvement, found Layer Themes still do not work, and printing/exporting the map still includes layers that are turned off.

    Hi Justin,

    I filed 'GVH-7040 - Non-visible layers appear in print' at the end of August and it didn't manage to get addressed early enough to get into 2.5. This issue is prioritized and in the backlog of items to be fixed. I changed the priority to Major today and I'm confident that it will be in the next maintenance release of GVH.

    Sorry for the inconveniences surrounding this issue.

    The child layer issue (GVH-6122) is resolved for me with the 2.5 upgrade, that's great.  Now I am faced with GVH-7040 and GVH-6975.  Is there a ballpark idea of when the next maintenance release will come out?  My dev server has been out of sync with my live servers since 2.2 because of deal-breaker issues with the newer versions, would be great to get that sorted out.  Thanks!

    @Justin,

    I made a fix which prints correctly when I point a development viewer at your site. I am unable to replicate the conditions required locally.

    Is it possible to attach your site XML to a post so I can try to reproduce this in-house? I am mainly interested in the 'Planning' folder.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

    @Stephanie,

    We've prioritized both those issues for 2.5.1, which should be available around the end of October.
