Print Template Legend

How can I control what shows in a legend when a map is generated with a print template? We don't want to see ortho layers in the legend and it's also showing annotation layers (that aren't even visible on this map):

  Yes, I would really appreciate this option as well. I have not been able to accomplish this either.

  It used to work with a hidden layer list file. However, the script doesn't work now with 4.4.2 essential.

   

  Is there anyway to make it work?

  The hidden layer list script still works for us with 4.4.2.  Perhaps something else changed with your environment or print templates.
