I may be wrong, but I think it just doesn't like that location for the image.  Can you put the image in the ..Sites/Resources/Images folder instead?  If I do that, I can insert an image in the home panel with <img src="/Resources/Images/image.png"/>.  An image in the ..Sites/VirtualDirectory folder doesn't work for me either.

    Cheers,

    Steph

I add the image to my site folder first then add it to my home page to entire that the viewer can get to it.

    Hi,

We did exactly that for the Desktop, the Tablet and the handheld. When we test the preview, the image is there for the three configurations, but on the real Tablet and smartphone, there is no image, only the anchor.

Is allowUnsafeContent set to 'true'? This setting can be found in either REST Manager or the viewer configs. AllowUnsafeContent will allow HTML markup in home panel and feature descriptions to be rendered.

    Hi Kevin,

IN the Desktop config, this parameter is set to false but the image is rendered correctly. Is setting it to true safe?

The image URL was not updated. This is the reason the browser didn't find the path to load the image.

    Problem solved.
