Configure drawing tool styling list
Is it possible to add, change or remove styles on the default style lists for the drawing tools?
I changed the default polygon drawing style to one without a fill (fully transparent fill). When a user changes the style of the polygon to one on the default syle list, the user is not able to get back the default style.
I would like to add this default style on the default syle list and create a new set of styles with just outlines and no fill or at least configure this style list.

How did you set the default style to transparent fill?

Hi Sara,
You configure this in yout site's viewer configuration files in '{G_VIEWERS}\[viewer]\VirtualDirectory\Resources\Config\Default'.
find the mark up module ("moduleName": "Markup"), go to defaultPolygonMarkup and change the polygonFillColor value. to make it transparent, just change the first two characters to '00' (ie. #00 FFBF00).
Do these for all the other cofiguration files (desktop, tablet, handheld). Hope it helps.

Thank you! I found it right after I posted my question. This will work for now, but hopefully we'll have more options in Styles in the future.

Noel, this is extremely helpful, thanks for posting your solution. Someone asked me if the default drawing and buffer colors could be hollow and this is perfect. Thanks again.
