Data Links in Charts

Has anyone else encountered a problem with using Data Links in Charts as described below? If so, do you have any recommendations for correcting the issue described?

I am building a chart and all data sources are data links. (horizontal axis, vertical axis and series break-unique value)

When the chart incorporates a series break (highlighted below), then in the map site it will work one time and anytime after (until  website is reloaded) it fails to update the chart based on new map selections.
