Admin Group - Not Working

Is anyone else unable to change the admin group to a new group in the lastest release? Our managers are being denied.

 

I had to revert back to; <add key="AdminRoleName" value="BUILTIN\Administrators" />, and add all the users back to the admin groups to let them manage the maps.

  In my case I found that the group I used (ex. GEOCORTEX\agMyGroup) in the Post Installer was correct and I could login as those users, but it was not reflected in the web.config file which still stated BUILTIN\Administrators. To me it seems like the web.config file is not being updated from the post installer. FYI I upgraded from Geocortex Essentials 4.1.5 to 4.3.1

  As of Essentials 4.2 y ou specify the role name on the Configure Sign-In Options panel of the  Post Installer.

  When performing an upgrade from <4.2 we extract the value from the legacy "AdminRoleName" web.config setting and try to use it, but this could fail if the Post Installer is unable to perform an ActiveDirectory lookup on the role name. It would be logged if there was a failure and you would get the default BUILTIN\Administrators group.
