Enable pushpins only for workflows?

Is it possible to display pushpins ONLY for workflow results?  I enabled pushpins in the viewer, and have Show Pushpins set to True in my SelectFeatures activity. The pushpins display for the workflow results, which is expected, but then a pushpin also displays for every feature returned when using the identify tool. For example, if I click on the map using identify, there may be 4 or 5 pushpins all over the map and hard to tell where the original click was. Can pushpins be somehow disabled for identify but enabled for workflow results?
