How do you query layers with HTML 5 Viewer 2.4?
Every layer says "This layer cannot be queried."
"Allow Query Operations" is checked in the Geocortex Essentials Manager
Query is a supported operation at the rest endpoint.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Long,
What does that mean - "tracked down"? I am having the same problem, except when I click on the Query icon it just opens a black panel. And the panel can not be closed.0 -
Hello Mike,
The issue "This layer cannot be queried" is related to security, please refer to "Security Bulletin - Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 - 9/30/2015" post in the community.
Thanks

Sorry, I meant a blank panel, not black. I looked at the Security Bulletin and I don't think it affects me - I am not using secured or outside services, it is not custom code, and it is not Essentials 3.15-4.15.
As it is, the Query and Filter tools just don't work.
Thanks for your help,

Same problem here. For me it looks like all service that I collect from my internal ArcGIS server 10.2.1 I'm not able to do query. Services I collect from a 10.3.1 version I'm able to do query.

I was finally able to query. I had to delete all the Identify and Find tools, then re-add them and not customize them. I had split them into separate tools to make the interface more basic, but then they don't work. The HTML5 Viewer still needs tons of work from Latitude, it is a long, long way from parity with the Silverlight viewer. 0 -
I can't seem to get the query tool to query more than one feature on the same layer.
For example I have some bridges and trying to get the tool to give me bridgename contains A and Bridgename contains B... Does not work. Also is it possible to add LIKE and OR operators or give us advanced query similar to what is in SL viewer?

Perhaps it's just the way you're wording it, but did you actually want Bridgenames that contain 'A' and 'B' in the same name? If not, your query should likely use OR instead of AND. 0
