Identifiable Layers
It is great that you have added the functionality for users to be able to select what they want to show in their identify results.
What we really need is the ability to have certain layers enabled by default and others available but not enabled. Right now if it is allowed it is enabled and if it is not allowed it will not show up in the list of "Identifiable Layers".
For example, I don't always want neighborhoods, parks, city council districts, county commission districts, school zones, etc. to come back in my result list. Especially since I can't predict what order they will be returned (another enhancement that is greatly needed). However, I may need to know what county commission district I am in at some point.
The new snapping tool has this ability you can "Allow Snapping" on a feature but have "Snapping Enabled" turned off.

More to the point, it should follow the same rules as the Identify has set up - Only provides layers on the current layer theme, and follows rules about if layers are identifiable, and at what scale. I have hundreds of layers, and many are identifiable, and it is too confusing for users. 0 -
Yes Bryan, would like this functionality as well. Is it possible to do this? 0 -
Hey guys,
The commands that the viewers run are not able to directly interact with the site configuration. That makes what you're trying to do pretty tricky, but one option is to use a workflow. There's an example on the code gallery here:

Which I hope points you in the right direction!
Thanks,
