    Hi James,

There are different modal forms used in the HTML5 Viewer, are you talking about a display form or an alert from a workflow you created? I have just tested them out now and both of them start at the top. Perhaps you can send me a screenshot and I can better help you diagnose the problem.

We have a similar issue with a long form.  When opened the scrollbar is set to the bottom.  Has anyone found a work around?

I think it may be an issue of using a group, or group box, description while there is no content within the group, or group box, itself.  Groups within groups may be an issue if you do not have any other element type.  It is like the height is not reported correctly if a group, or group box, does not have any children elements within it.

For example we had a form with a root group.  The root group has no description and contains 4 group boxes.  The group boxes have no children but do have descriptions.  The form would always open with the scrollbar at the bottom.  If you add a blank hyperlink before the first group box and a blank hyperline below the last group box the scroll bar will show up at the top of the form where one would expect it.

Do note, that adding only one hyperlink fixes the issue for IE, but the scroll bar was still at the bottom in Firefox.  The second hyperlink fixed it for all browsers I tested (IE, FF, Chrome).

This appears to be a height calculation bug if there are not certain child types within a group.

    Hi Tyson,

Thanks for posting this workaround.  The issue had been filed, but there was no workaround in our bug tracker, so I've added yours to its description.  We are currently tracking this issue as GVH-8648.  It is currently not scheduled to be fixed.

    Regards,
