Error at Template Report -

I am working with a workflow that fails at the Template Report Activity with the following error.  I try to read this and understand where is the best place to look for the problem but I cannot. I have looked at the path for the report - it is okay.   Can anyone read this and steer me in the right direction for what could cause the problem?

  After a good night's sleep and a fresh brain, I started with a stripped down report (which had contained several subreports) which just had a couple of fields (no subreports).  When it worked fine, I started adding in the other components one at a time, testing, until failure occurred.  Found the offending subreport which had an overlooked  embedded script that had not been updated.
