Support an ESRI Print Service (GE-8268)
Not plannedAlthough we can create print templates with the report designer, it would be better if we could specify an ESRI print service instead (or in addition to).
We already have a number of print print templates served up through our ArcGIS Server, and rather than replicating these in the Report designer it would be easier (and more consistent) to use them.

Considering the system utilisation we observe on our web server when users generate a print job, I would think that pushing this request to the ArcGIS server may be a more efficient way to handle the process.
And, although I haven't had first hand creating print templates in the Report Designer, I have heard that it is not the most enjoyable experience...0 -
It should also allow users to replace cached layers, which normally have a low resolution e.g. 96dpi, which with the current print templates in Geocortex are marginal, when printed in hard copy. 0 -

The team lead has indicated that there are no plans to implement this feature currently. 0
